Key Selection Criteria
We are looking for someone with proven merchandise office experience. You must be confident with computers and pick up new systems quickly.You will have the initiative to resolve problems and be an effective communicator, who can develop a strong working relationship with the stores and suppliers. Spreadsheet fluency and the ability to collate and analyse data is essential. In addition, if you can effectively plan and organise your time, pay attention to detail and can use your judgement to contribute to sound business decisions, then this is a great opportunity for you to become an essential member of our buying team.
To be successful in this role you will have had some exposure to a Buying office environment, either soft or hard goods, or a retail administration environment and preferably have relevant tertiary qualifications.
Your administration and excel skills will be advanced and you will have a detailed knowledge of what the role of an Assistant Buyer requires.
